Charlene is Development Manager for WKNO FM, the Mid-South’s National Public Radio affiliate. She oversees all fund-raising for the non-profit station. A native of New Orleans, Charlene moved to the Memphis area in 1988 and began her work in the non-profit arena as Membership Coordinator for the Memphis Zoo shortly after.
In 1997 she joined WKNO as Membership Coordinator and then moved to the TV Promotions Department. In 2004 Charlene was named Development Manager for WKNO FM.
Meanwhile, she is an accomplished photographer, a voracious reader, and will even admit to watching too much television.
