After reading a Memphis Flyer article about Chatterbox in early 2009, it didn’t take long for Deborah to try her hand at writing audio scripts -- and she’s awfully darned glad she did. Not only is she thrilled to hear her work brought to life by some of the most creative people with whom she’s had the pleasure of working -- but sometimes they ask her to moo on cue, and that’s fun, too. Her excitement at being part of this project is fueled by her lifelong interest in radio/audio theatre, and supported by a background in live theatre and video production. Although she hasn’t owned up to any deep, dark, secret dreams of directing for Chatterbox, those who know her well say it’s just a matter of time.
Deborah is an accomplished business writer, with long experience developing marketing, technical, and corporate communications. She is currently freelancing in the Memphis area and on the lookout for her next dream job.
On a personal note, she is owned by an affectionate and obstinate Siamese named Sky, who approved this bio.
