Melissa Fennewald

Melissa Fennewald

Melissa Fennewald was born and raised in Fulton, Missouri. She owes her imagination to her family and their land. Growing up she and her brother would lead the neighbor kids in "full-blown wars" to defend their family titles, and created a neighborhood Olympics. Her childhood fun helped her jump into acting quite easily. She then worked around the area performing in several productions such as The Curious Savage, Proof, Annie Get Your Gun, My Favorite Year, and Seussical the Musical. She then decided to move to Kansas City in an effort to broaden her horizons. She is currently working on a degree in theatre performance at the University of Missouri-Kansas City. Her UMKC undergraduate productions include: Our Town, Meanwhile, Trojan Women, Stop Kiss, and All in the Timing. She has also been in four UMKC graduate productions: The Trial, Twelfth Night, The Country Wife, and The Heidi Chronicles. After she graduates in May she is heading off to Chicago to hopefully be involved in theatre, and probably to wait tables. Melissa would like to thank Chatterbox Audio Theater for letting her be a part of their creative experience.
