Bo List serves as Executive Producer of Germantown Community Theatre, where his proudest accomplishment is staying out of the way of the many talented artists, technicians and volunteers who make it a successful community resource. As playwright, his most recent work is Dracula...a variation, which was produced to wildly mixed reviews at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe in Scotland, and will include The Colonel Sanders Story: A Finger-Lickin’ Good Musical!, which will hopefully open in Corbin, KY as a major outdoor theatrical attraction in 2011 or so. As director, he is an Ostrander Award winner for helming The Laramie Project at Circuit Playhouse, and non-award winner for Hamlet, The Waverly Gallery, and Bash at Theatre Memphis. Other directing work includes Much Ado About Nothing, Our Town, Twelfth Night, and As You Like It with the Lexington Shakespeare Festival, Moscow and Kilt (both of which received generally poor reviews) at Chicago’s Bailiwick Repertory, Crazy For You with Paragon Music Theatre, The Underpants and Marisol for Actors Guild of Lexington and Disney’s Beauty and the Beast for California State University at Chico. Bo writes occasionally for the Memphis Flyer (also as a non-award winner) and for other publications to innumerous to name.
