Laurence is a native Memphian and currently one of two Latin teachers at a girls school in the city. She attended the University of St. Andrews, graduating with a degree in Latin and Classical Studies in June 2007. She enjoys choral singing, traveling, Classics, and pub quizzes, among other things. She can occasionally be seen on stage, with a recent stint as Cecily in The Importance of Being Earnest; she will be appearing as Lydia Bennet in Theatre Memphis's Pride and Prejudice in March.
