Jim Palmer has been an actor for almost fifty years, and during that time has appeared in plays in Texas, Tennessee, North and South Carolina, Georgia, New York City, and Germany. Some of his favorite shows have been The Little Foxes, Another Part of the Forest, The Exonerated, Pound, and The Trip to Bountiful, all of which he was able to appear in alongside his wife, actress Jo Lynne Palmer. He has been the recipient of several Ostrander Theatre Awards for acting, and most recently was awarded one for his performance as Tupolski in Martin McDonagh's The Pillowman. He has appeared in several films, including The People vs. Larry Flynt and A Painted House, and can be seen next year in Nothing But The Truth. Jim grew up in the late '40s and early '50s, during the age of network radio dramas, and is thrilled to be able to lend his voice to Chatterbox. When not acting, he can be found at his drawing board doing his "other" job, turning out freelance cartoons and illustrations.
