Haunted by an old man's "evil eye," a woman commits a shocking act of violence. But although she conceals the crime, the old man's presence is not so easily forgotten. A classic tale of madness and murder from the great Edgar Allan Poe.

Notes

For Halloween this year, Chatterbox gets back to basics. "The Tell-Tale Heart" is as classic as horror stories get. It's a lean, mean, disturbing tale, which accounts for its long popularity. And of course it's built around one of the most memorable sounds in literary history. What could be more perfect?

This production kicks off our ambitious goal of releasing one show per month for the next year. So, if you're a fan of audio theater in general and Chatterbox specifically, you have plenty of reasons to celebrate -- all while curled up on the couch in terror.

Happy Halloween!
