Notes

It was late September 2008 when I woke up in bed with the idea for a live Halloween broadcast. The concept -- and the ideas that flowed from it -- were so exciting that I wasn't able to go back to sleep. That year and every year since, Chatterbox's live horror broadcast has been one of the most fun projects we undertake.

It's nice to take a breath and look back at what we've been able to accomplish -- and get away with -- over the past four years. We thought this fifth broadcast would be a perfect opportunity to pay tribute to the actors, writers, musicians, and sound effects artists who have participated in all our Halloween performances to date.

It wouldn't be a Halloween Show without a new on-air performance, of course, and I am indebted to the team that came together so quickly to make "A Voice from the Woods" into a fun, eerie capper to this year's show.

The idea for a Chatterbox Halloween broadcast kept me awake way back in 2008. I hope the broadcasts themselves have been keeping you awake ever since.
