Barry Fuller

Since appearing at the Front Street Theatre in the late 1950's, Barry has been a constant on the theatre, ballet, opera and now radio scenes. In theatre, he has acted and directed at Theatre Memphis, Playhouse on the Square, Circuit Playhouse, Germantown Community Theatre and the McCoy Theatre at Rhodes College. He created the role of Scrooge in Theatre Memphis' annual production of A Christmas Carol in 1979 and repeated the role in the 33rd production in 2010. He has been awarded many theatre awards, including Ostranders and a Lifetime Achievement Award in Theatre. In ballet, he danced the role of Herr Drosselmeier in Ballet Memphis' production of The Nutcracker for eleven years. In opera, he sang major supporting roles in Die Fledermaus starring Beverly Sills and La Traviata starring Dame Joan Sutherland. And now he is having a great time in performing with Chatterbox Theater. What's next?? Whatever it is, he's looking forward to it.
