Jessica Franz

Jessica Franz

Jessica hails from Detroit, finished her BA at Smith College in Massachusetts, and spent 3 years in New York, being the co-associate director of "Apple Girls Productions," directing several off... ooooff Broadway productions. She has set her roots down in KCMO, and has since been seen on and offstage at the Metropolitan Ensemble Theatre, assisting Kyle Hatley at the KC Rep and for the KC Fringe Festival, and directing at the Barn Players. She will be playing Jackie in the MET's upcoming production of Hot L Baltimore and directing David's Mother at OCTA in Olathe, KS. She recently directed Big Love at the KC Fringe, and is already searching for her one-person, public domain, non-prop-filled project for next year. She thanks Jared for his unending support and to Tazzy for always giving her a laugh and a conversation starter in explaining all the bruises.
